High quality floors

good price & professional installation

Just as you need a good roof over your head, you need the right floor under your feet! Where do you begin? Right here!

Floor Types

Installing a new floor can be one of the more expensive home improvement projects you might undertake. We provide quality products & installation of hardwood, laminate, engineered wood, vinyl, tile, stone & carpet.

Some engineered woods, along with a few solid wood types of flooring, aren’t as resistant to moisture as vinyl or laminate flooring. That can be a serious drawback in a bathroom or busy kitchen.

Tile would be a better choice for durability, but you may not want to deal with keeping the gout clean or the added expense for the labor-intensive prep and installation.

Luxury vinyl plank has a natural warmth & impressive wear resistance. It can be sanded & refinished several times.

Budget

Budget is certain to factor into your decision. But you should also consider how much foot traffic, sunlight & wear & tear your flooring will endure.

Solid Wood

Solid wood will expand & contract with varying humidity levels & can dent easily. Some species can show wear quickly & become discolored from sunlight.

Engineered Wood

Engineered wood is typically made of a thin veneer of real wood or bamboo over structural plywood & is usually pre-finished. It can usually withstand higher levels of humidity & would be less likely to expand when compared with solid wood flooring. It can also dent easilly, despite differences in wood species. Depending on the thickness of the veneer, most engineered hardwood can be refinished only once or not at all.

Laminate

Laminate is constructed of dense fiberboard with a photo beneath a clear-plastic protective layer. Laminate can mimic almost anything! Some brands use a cork backing underneath or require a foam underlayment, which can help muffle sound. The best laminates resist stratching & discoloration from sunlight better than most wood products. It can be extremely tough.

Vinyl

Vinyl is good for holding up to wear, dents, scratches, discoloration from sunlight & stains. It’s easy to install & has many colors & design choices. Vinyl plank floors are very popular! The premium brands can mimic the look of stone, tile & even oak.

Tile - Ceramic or Porcelain

Tile tends to resist wear, moisture, scratches, dents & stains. Installing tile is more labor intensive. A lot of prep work is needed & the subfloor needs to be perfectly smooth before we can set the tile. Natural stone is also very popular!

Carpet

Carpet is a great choice for bedrooms. It helps to break up the look of hard-surface flooring & feels better on your joints & feet.
